The Gobbins Coastal Path

The Gobbins is a unique coastal experience – a reimagined ‘best kept secret’ along Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coastal Route. Walking the cliff path at The Gobbins is an exhilarating adventure that will excite all the senses. The dramatic and challenging two-mile-long cliff-face path includes spectacular tubular and suspension bridges, caves, steps, and tunnels that are all carved through the rock.

It was first enjoyed in 1902 by Edwardians and was Northern Ireland’s premier attraction with more visitors than the Gaint’s Causeway. During the Second World War it was closed and fell into disrepair, laying derelict for decades. The reimagined path is only recently opened after its £7.5 million complete reinvention and well worth a trip.
