Newforge House can provide the perfect setting for your special occasion. The house offers elegant surroundings for small events for up to 40 people, whilst our grounds offer additional flexibility, with space for marquees for up to 130 guests and hidden corners for small gatherings.
Exclusive Hire of Newforge House
In order to hold any event in Newforge House you are required to hire all six bedrooms on the night of your event. Hire includes exclusive hire of the house and gardens from 2.00pm on the day of hire until 11am the following day. We offer 10% discount on our standard bed and breakfast rates for exclusive hire.
Event Spaces & Dining Options in the House
The Dining Room can seat up to 26 for formal dining.
The Drawing Room and Entrance Hall provide additional relaxed surroundings for a drinks and/or canapé receptions.
A combination of the Dining Room, Entrance Hall and Drawing Room provide informal dining opportunities for up to 40 guests.
Weddings & Receptions in Marquees
The front lawn can host marquees up to 12m x 24m, large enough for up to 130 guests. Please note that we do not own a marquee and you will be required to hire a marquee for your event.
Wedding Ceremonies at Newforge House
We have a license for civil ceremonies for up to 40 guests in the house and for up to 130 guests in a 12m x 24m marquee on the front lawn.
